Analysis of Puzzle Media Needs For Cognitive Abilities of Children Aged 5-6 Years at Tkk Santo Rafael Waruwaja

Abstract
This research aims to analyze the need for puzzle media in improving the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TKK St. Rafael Waruwaja. Cognitive abilities at an early age are very important for children's brain development, and appropriate learning media can support this. Puzzle media was chosen because it can stimulate children's logical thinking, problem solving skills and fine motor coordination. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods with teachers and parents to explore their perceptions regarding the importance of puzzle media in the learning process. The results of the analysis show that puzzle media can support increasing children's cognitive abilities, especially in the aspects of recognizing shapes, colors, numbers and spatial concepts. Therefore, it is hoped that the development and application of puzzle media in the classroom can be an effective solution to enrich children's learning experiences and help improve their cognitive skills
